1H-Pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid, 5-amino-1-ethyl-, methyl ester - Introduction
1-Ethyl-5-amino-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid methyl ester is an organic compound commonly referred to as methylesterized pyrrole methyl ester. Its molecular formula is C9H11NO3.
This compound is a colorless liquid with a special melting point and boiling point at room temperature. It is soluble in most organic solvents, such as ether, ethanol and dimethylformamide.
Methylated pyrrole methyl ester is mainly used as an intermediate in organic synthesis, for the synthesis of pyrrole amide compounds, synthetic drugs, etc. It can also be used in the synthesis of dyes, pesticides and other organic compounds.
The preparation method of methyl esterified pyrrole methyl ester mainly includes esterification reaction catalyzed by amidase catalyst, or oxidation of formaldehyde with hydrogen peroxide or oxygen to form formyl ethyl ether, and then prepared by reaction with ethyl carbamate.
In the use of methyl esterification of pyrrole methyl ester need to pay attention to its safety. It is a flammable liquid and needs to be kept away from open flames and high temperatures. When in contact with skin and eyes, may cause irritation and burns. Therefore, protective glasses and gloves should be worn during operation, and direct contact should be avoided. When stored should be sealed, away from fire and incompatible substances. If leakage occurs, it should be removed in time and handled in accordance with relevant regulations.
